Ground Stone Farm

Ground Stone Farm is located in Nambé, New Mexico. Using organic practices, Mat Ladegaard (hubby of our Squash Blossom founder, Nina Ladegaard) grows a variety of crops ranging from greens, herbs, fruits, flowers, and seeds. He is passionate about land-race varieties, and preserving crop diversity, heritage, and story. The farm uses drip irrigation fed by the acequia de los Ortiz, and the acequia del Caño. Mat is inspired by the rich agricultural traditions of the land here in northern New Mexico, while employing new techniques to grow nourishing and exciting food for the community. 
Ground Stone Farm has been supplying Squash Blossom since 2018.
